An LA-native, Nora turned in the shores of Malibu for the rolling hills of San Luis Obispo county. From living in LA to Santa Barbara to San Francisco to Los Gatos (and even a stint in Bozeman, Montana), she’s planted her feet in the North County with her Atascadero-born husband so they could embrace a culture that savors life, time and family. And she knows a thing or two about deep roots. Her husband’s ancestor, Joaquin Estrada, was an early Californio and the original owner of the Historic Santa Margarita Ranch back in the 1800’s. They were lucky enough to celebrate their wedding at the ranch in the Estrada Garden named for Joaquin.

When this Californ-i-a isn’t chasing her golden retriever, Piper, or her black lab, Grumpy, down Cayucos beach, you’d likely see her camping in Big Sur, sipping a glass of Sauv at a winery, keeping her thumb green in her garden or inviting everyone she knows over to host a huge brunch spread. Bloody Mary, anyone?

Nora has worked for art magazines and some of the top California lifestyle magazines. Frankly, if it were possible to live inside an edition of Sunset Magazine, she would. When it comes to her personal style, it’s all about embracing the West way of life – an easy-going, classic yet comfortable, chic yet casual, California closet. What will you find in her home? Copper, lots of copper and terra cotta. Indoor plants and natural or organic elements like driftwood, oyster shells or urchin accents. She’s also a treasure hunter, but her treasure means shelves lined with piles of unique shells, sea glass, salvaged metal pieces, rocks and abalone.

Nora thrives when it comes to creating – whether that’s an interior space, a new driftwood creation or an outfit for a wine tasting tour – she has fun finding art in everything.

Kelly is proud to be from California’s bountiful and beautiful Central Valley. Born in Fresno and raised by a dairyman and schoolteacher, her childhood was filled with country music, poolside barbecues, and frequent hikes up Yosemite’s spectacular monoliths.

When Cal Poly beckoned, Kelly traded the Central Valley for the Central Coast. This valley girl discovered a love for the beach and a new way to express her lifelong love of running along San Luis Obispo’s picturesque rolling hills.

Kelly, her husband, and their 2 young boys make their home just outside San Luis Obispo County’s Edna Valley, where tasting room attendants call you by name.

When she’s not playing with her kids, this former journalist works full-time helping doctors harness the marketing power of social media.

Outside of work, you can find Kelly and her family at one of the many fantastic Central Coast festivals, a favorite winery, or shopping a downtown street.

This laid-back mom could absolutely live in a good T-shirt and her favorite jeans. But she also enjoys her little-bit-of-everything style.

Kelly’s home is a mix of rustic modern and traditional. She can always count on her kids to give anything new that “rustic touch.”
